FENNO WAITED. THE BLANDNESS of the Hauser basement suffocated him, but after the boredom of the MPRE review this was like a trip to Disney World. The man behind the desk continued to murmur into the phone. Eventually he hung up and turned to Fenno. "I'm sorry, Fenno, it's simply not possible to change your e-mail address," he said.

If you have an Asian fetish and are looking to take a girl somewhere, Chinatown's Hong Kong Eatery is probably not the best bet. For one thing, the food itself is not submissive and demure like a few pink slivers of sashimi; instead, the pig and duck carcasses hanging from the window augur a world of assertive delights like sautéed duck's tongues and pig feet.

THIS WEEK, CONGRESS overwhelmingly passed S.3, a federal ban on partial-birth abortion. It was a great event for many conservatives, but a terrible development for many Federalists: conservativism confronted with a fundamental conflict of law and politics.

Dear Interviewer Dude, The Office of Career Services tells us it's unnecessary to write thank you notes after our on-campus interviews, but I wanted to send you a note anyway, to tell you how much I enjoyed our meeting last week and how much I look forward to getting to know more about your firm should I be invited to come and visit during Sell-Out Week. I mean Fly-Out Week.
